Aplication
The engine lathes 1, 000 mm diameter and 1250 mm diameter, with a length between centers of 1500 – 12000 mm, achieved after an own conception, are designed for heavy metal parts (10, 000 kg) from ferrous and non-ferrous alloys machining, with small, mean and high cutting speeds, with tools of rapid steel or tools armed with hard metal tips.
One maay performsuch operations as turning of the inner and outer surfaces, cylindrical and taper, frontal turning , threading of the inner and outer surfaces, borning and cutting off

Constructive Elements
The bed is of gray cast iron with HF – hardened and grounded guideways. the different versions for the lenght between centres are obtained through the combination of the modular elements.Their centering is easily and efficiently achieved by means of a single attachement, placed in the separation plane of two modules. The rack for tailstocking has a vertical position and is obtained by a casting of the bed.
The gearbox is provided with a clutch with friction and is electric controlled The kinematic link between the main motor, with a power of 220KW, and the clucth shaft is obtained by v – bells, and between the gearbox and the feedthread box by means of a pair of change gears.
The lathe slide is porvided with an overload attachement.
